OR DCs,Had an interesting conversation with an LAc colleague who spent a few years in Germany under their national health system.  She actually got a rebate on the taxes/premium that she paid while there.  Ever get something back from your health insurance company?

I know a medical doctor husband/wife team who used to live here (great people) and moved to Canada (because that's where they were originally from) and they absolutely LOVE the Canadian health-care system and reimbursement! Love it...

They make MORE MONEY when they keep people well... If they spend tons of money on repeated office visits, meds, tests, exams, surgeries...they LOSE MONEY on that patient. Conversely, the LESS they have to do for a patient...the more money they make.

So, these two doctors, who are VERY holistic, are LOVING getting their patients "healthy" because they are improving their community, and making MORE money there, than they did here..(plus, the government reimburses them 50 or 35%--I can't remember--on ALL office computers/software expenditures, etc).

America...where the rich get richer, the poor get poorer, but EVERYONE gets sicker (Mcs--the great equalizer). (:-)
