Guest guest
The mythic proportion of Ray Kruzweil's Singularity, the point where mechanically augmented biology subsumes and exponentially extends the intellectual capacity of humanity, is a subject about which we should be informed. At our current point in human history, when we can see the acceleration of technological invention both enhancing the human experience and threatening the material resources of the planet and it's carrying capacity, it is not entirely clear that technology is survivable. As a profession established on the ability of human hands and minds to access innate human self-healing potentials in others, the future of purely biologically-based health care may be limited in it's present form.
