Guest guest Posted June 16, 2005 Report Share Posted June 16, 2005 MY PHYSIOTHERAPIST TOLD ME LONG TIME AGO TO EXERCISES MY FEET WITH THOSE RUBBER BANDS, I DO KNOW IF YOU CALL RUBBER OR SILICONE BANDS, THEY HAVE DIFFERENT COLOURS. SOME ARE HARDER THAN THERS...ETC. ANYWAY, I DO MOST OF THE EVENINGS THOSE EXERCISES TO STRETCHING MY FEET AND THE CALVES MUSCLES. DO A KNOT WITH THIS RUBBER BAND. LIKE A CIRCLE, AND PLACE IT AROUND MY FOOT AND PULL THE FOOT UP AND DOWN.IF YOU FEEL DISCOMFORT, STOP IT.WAIT, AND DO IT AGAIN AND AGAIN. SORRY, MAYBE SOMEONE COULD EXPLAIN BETTER HOW TO DO THIS. ANOTHER TYPE OF EXERCISES IS WITH THE WOBBLE BOARD. I DO NOT KNOW IF ANY OF YOU DO THAT TOO.IT SUPPOSE TO BE GOOD FOR OUR BALANCE. FOR THAT YOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO HOLD AROUND YOU IN CASE YOU FALL. TO THE HANDS...THE BEST EXERCISES THEY TOLD ME IS TO DO STRETCHING. NEVER PLAY WITH THOSE LITTLE RUBBER BALLS BECAUSE THOSE LITTLE BALLS WOULD MAKE OUR FINGERS WORSEN.BECAUSE WE ALL HAVE THE TENDENCY TO CLOSE OUR FINGERS INSIDE.WE SHOLD DO THE OPPOSITE, STRETCHING THEM.
