Guest guest
Hi All, I am 59 and about 25 years ago I started having a funny feeling in my mouth and throat. Doctors did not know what it was so I treated it like a sore throat when it was bad. Later it was thought to be acid reflux but after many tests I think they have ruled that out. Now my CMT doctor believes it is CMT working on my throat and vocal cords. I have problems swallowing and a lot of pain when talking for any length of time. I have spasms in my throat that cause me to stop breathing for a few seconds and then takes about an hour to recover. The doctor said it is very rare but is pretty sure that it is CMT. Does anyone else out there have anything like this or am I a one of a kind. It's rather scarey. Bob
