Testing saliva/urine can show you when that process is likely happening. I can easily feel my sense of wellbeing shift when my saliva/urine tests get out of whack (testing AFTER the fact). This is hardly a reason to not take vitamin C. In fact acidic urine makes you less likely to contract a UTI. Focusing on alkalinity and acidity in foods and how your blood PH or Urine PH is affected by that is a red herring, and something that wellness sites have been pushing for a long time with very little credible science to justify any of what they are saying.
