The Salk Polio Vaccine of 1955-1963 Contaminated With Simian Virus 40

I had heard before of the connections in New Orleans, especially in 1963,

between

Lee Harvey Oswald, the murdered cancer

researcher Dr Sherman, a secret plan to create a cancer virus to

kill Fidel Castro, and the contamination of the Salk polio vaccine by

the monkey or Simian Virus 40 (SV40). But Jim McCanney in his last broadcast on

April

12, 2012 talked briefly about these connections, which are

interesting. McCanney is an astronomer who has had a weekly

short wave and Internet broadcast for years in which he talks about

astronomy and a lot of stuff relevant to whats happening, including the ongoing

financial meltdown.

From what I read yesterday the Salk polio vaccine was given to grade

school children and some others from about 1955 to the early sixties,

and was replaced by another polio vaccine. Millions of the Baby Boom

generation

was vaccinated with the Salk vaccine which is said to have contained

live Simian Virus 40. Some researchers in more recent decades

think that this vaccine appears to be responsible for cancers in humans similar

to the Simian Virus 40.

The question is, was the Salk vaccine also given to entering Freshmen

- and entering grad students - in some colleges and universities,

without much awareness of it being given? I know that there was media

publicity from about 1955 to 1963 on the vaccine being given to grade

school students.

In September of 1956 I remember that I was part of a large group,

apparently of entering Freshmen and entering grad students, given a

physical exam under the football stadium at Wisconsin in a large room. At that

time I would not have thought being vaccinated was important nor

would I have questioned it. I don't remember whether we were given

vaccinations then or not, though it is quite possible we were given

some. I also do not remember being given vaccinations when I

re-entered the University of Texas at Austin in the fall of 1954, but

that was too early for the Salk vaccine to be given.

Whether or not the Salk vaccine was given to college freshman and entering grad

students

in the fifties and

early sixties is a topic that fits in with some posts I have been

making on Facebook about vaccine problems and other problems with the

medical profession. If it was also given to our older generation, then it is not

only the Baby Boomers

who could have been at risk for developing cancer.
