I'm not sure whether I'm convinced about the link either, but I don't want to

slight someone who saw signs of autism right after getting the shot. It may

have been coincidence. It may have been coincidence that showed signs

right after being exposed to a lead environment, too. I know that the cases of

REPORTED and DIAGNOSED autism has increased lately. But is that because we're

better at diagnosing it now? I read that it's as high as 1 in 500 (7 in 100 for

Down's). It would raise the level of those that got immunized, so it could be

environmental or it could be hereditary. I know that I have a lot of " autistic

like characteristics " myself. I'm a bit obsessive about having my cd's and

what-not in alphabetical order, I used to rehearse social situations in high

school and grade school because I didn't know how to act if caught off guard.
