Peanuts Health Benefits;

Peanuts are generally called as Ground nuts which belongs legume group

of plants and botanically called as Arachis hypogaea. Peanuts are very

popular and widely used in many food items, edible oil seeds, which is

being grown and commercially cultivated throughout the world for its

numerous health benefits. Each peanuts kernel contains one to three

oval shaped nuts, that is reddish brown in color, and delicious, nutty

fiber and mono unsaturated fatty acids like oleic acid, which aids to

lowers LDL Cholesterol and raises HDL Cholesterol, improves heart

health, prevents cardiovascular disorders. Due to the presence of rich

content of amino acids, it aids for growth and development. The

presence of poly phenolic antioxidant, p-coumaric acid that lowers risk

of stomach cancer as it inhibits the growth of carcinogens. Ground nuts

are rich source of resveratrol which protects against degenerative

disorders like cancer, heart disorders, Alzheimer's disease and

prevents fungal, viral infections as well. The presence of Resveratrol

lowers risk of vascular damage as it decreases the angiotensin

activity, that constricts blood vessels, which increases blood pressure

and hyper tension, and it increases the production of nitric oxide, that
