Joana,

I saw the website. Last fall when that was written, through this

spring there was alot of controversy over Vitamin E. Now, I will

share my experience. I did not stop taking Vitamin E in 1000 IU a

day. My, my, shame on me. But, I have taken it for 8 - 9 years now

and have not experienced any ill effects, if anything all positive

effects and the benefit to red blood cells and to skeletal muscle of

E still stands. I also checked in with my Internist, as I do every 6

months, and he asked what I wanted to do. I said I felt the Vitamin E

news was 'hype' and I wanted to continue taking it. He agreed that it

seems to benefit me and that I should continue it.

So, some advice: by all means, regarding everything, do your own

research, ask your doctor, get a 2nd medical opinion, make your own

decisions and realize alot on the internet is junk or also scare

tactics too. It is your life, you have a right to all information and

to make up your own mind, after diligent background work. I cannot

tell you what to do. One more thing, if you begin to take Vitamin C,

taking Vitamin E with it will help the absorption of the C.

Be safe. Be aware. Be your own best advocate.
