LaDonna,

My exercise program involves aquatic circuit training. (this in in a

pool, however, is not swimming.) It includes everything from muscle

strengthening and endurance, and involves biking, walking, jogging,

skipping, sit ups (yes, there IS a way to do this in water!) kicking,

balance work with floats and weights, golf swings (for arms) also hand

sculling, donkey kicks, and so much more. It is a strong hour of good

cardio and I have great results from this. I also turn off the overhead

lights and turn off the musak (that leaves only the pool lights on) and

it becomes very peaceful and a time I can really think too) Sometimes I

use a current of about 3-4 mph, sometimes not. It's been on my mind

lately to go through all the exercises and make a list (when I'm doing

them) and then write explanations and diagrams for each. The gym has

some of this already down, so perhaps this will be a good summer

project for me. Then I can add it to our FILES for anyone interested.

(Deni, if you're reading this, maybe we can email and talk about those

that you teach - I'm sure there is more than I know).
