Introduction/Nerve Velocity test

Hello, my name is . I am 34 yrs old, and I believe that I have CMT. I was

diagnosed at the age of 13 as having muscle atrophy in the lower arms and legs,

hands, and feet. I was told that I had what was

called a bilateral foot drop, and my hands were like claws. I had great

difficulty with my balance, walking, running, and gripping things with my hands.

I was given a nerve velocity conducting test, an EMG to test the speed of my

nerves to see if I had CMT. The neurologist who I visited never gave a

definitive diagnosis as to what I had. I am trying to get

information as to where I can go to have these tests to see what type of CMT I

have.
