Allow me to introduce myself

Hi all. My name is and I am from Connecticut. I am lja1 on

the CMTA forum. I am 40 y/o and have had CMT ever since I can

remember. I think I was diagnosed around the time I was 4. My older

sister and my father were diagnosed around the same time.

Unfortunately, I have yet to learn to fully accept the fact that I

have CMT. I have spent much of my lifetime hating this body that

'betrayed me'. I know, not very productive or heatlthy, but that is

where I have been for most of my life. Still, I am working toward

self-acceptance every day. Part of that is learning to take better

care of myself on a regular basis.
