The Dangers of Cell Antenna in Residential Neighbourhoods http://mybronte.ca/wp/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Firefighter_sendout.pdf  Since the IARC designated cell phone Base Stations (BS) as apossible cause of cancer, (click here to view video from the press conference Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4E2i5XFX9M & feature=youtu.be ) recentstudies have started to appear concerning the negative effects from living inclose proximity to the towers. Just likedamaging cell phone research was suppressed and took a long time to reach thepublic, ( Click here for a Canadian studyon cell phones http://oem.bmj.com/content/68/9/631.full.pdf+html?sid=ca3ce25f-a8c2-446a-9395-98\ f6b13cfbae) the same is now happening with cell phone towers. Finally, governments areacting to warn their citizens. Here are a few of the most notable well researched studies that have become available.   Mortality by neoplasia and cellular telephone base stations in the Belo Horizonte municipality, Minas Gerais state, Brazil Published Sept 2011. This well funded study was done by the Municipal Governmentof Belo Horizonte, Municipal Health Department, Belo Horizonte City, Minas Gerais State, Brazil. It showed that in personsthat live within 500 meters of a cell antenna base station (BS) there was amuch higher death rate from neoplasia which is the abnormal proliferation ofbenign or malignant cells which cause tumours.  Abstract Pollution caused by the electromagnetic fields (EMFs) ofradio frequencies (RF) generated by the telecommunication system is one of thegreatest environmental problems of the twentieth century. The purpose of thisresearch was to verify the existence of a spatial correlation between basestation (BS) clusters and cases of deaths by neoplasia in the Belo Horizonte municipality, Minas Gerais state, Brazil, from1996 to 2006 and to measure the human exposure levels to EMF where there is amajor concentration of cellular telephone transmitter antennas. A descriptivespatial analysis of the BSs and the cases of death by neoplasia identified inthe municipality was performed through an ecological–epidemiological approach, using georeferencing. The database employed in the survey was composed of threedata banks: 1. death by neoplasia documented by the Health MunicipalDepartment; 2. BSs documented in ANATEL (“Agência Nacional deTelecomunicaçõesâ€: ‘Telecommunications National Agency’); and 3. census anddemographic city population data obtained from official archives provided byIBGE (“Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e EstatÃsticaâ€: ‘Brazilian Instituteof Geography and Statistics’). The results show that approximately 856 BSs wereinstalled through December 2006. Most (39.60%) of the BSs were located in the“Centro-Sul†(‘Central-Southern’) region of the municipality. Between 1996 and2006, 7191 deaths by neoplasia occurred and within an area of 500 m from theBS, the mortality rate was 34.76 per 10,000 inhabitants. Outside of this area, adecrease in the number of deaths by neoplasia occurred. The greatestaccumulated incidence was 5.83 per 1000 in the Central-Southern region and thelowest incidence was 2.05 per 1000 in the Barreiroregion. During the environmental monitoring, the largest accumulated electricfield measured was 12.4 V/m and the smallest was 0.4 V/m. The largest densitypower was 40.78 ?W/cm2, and the smallest was 0.04 ?W/cm2. Conclusions This research showed the existence of a spatial correlationbetween cases of death by neoplasia and the locations of the BSs, in the Belo Horizontemunicipality from 1996 to 2006. The mortality rates and the relative risk werehigher for the residents inside a radius of 500 m from the BS, compared to theaverage mortality rate of the entire city, and a decreased dose–responsegradient was observed for residents who lived farther away from the BS. Themajor antenna concentration was located in the Central-Southern SD of the city, which also had the largest accumulated incidence. Click here for a PDF http://www.brain-surgery.us/Khurana_et_al_IJOEH-Base_Station_RV.pdf  Vini Khurana (Australia, neurosurgeon)and Lennart Hardell (Sweden, oncologist) have published a summary of ten studies that reported healtheffects of populations living near cell towers. They found risks for cancer andneurological disease in eight out of ten studies – within 500 meters of thecell antennas. It is important to remember that not all cell tower antennas arethe same, and the RF exposures around them can vary widely. Major macrocellsites can emit 6000 watts or more, and smaller sites can be less than 2000 watts. The distance outward from a cell tower that creates the ‘zone of RF impact’needs to be assessed on a site-specific basis.  Abstract Human populations are increasingly exposed tomicrowave/radiofrequency (RF) emissions from wireless communication technology, including mobile phones and their base stations. By searching PubMed, weidentified a total of 10 epidemiological studies that assessed for putativehealth effects of mobile phone base stations. Seven of these studies exploredthe association between base station proximity and neurobehavioral effects andthree investigated cancer. We found that eight of the 10 studies reportedincreased prevalence of adverse neurobehavioral symptoms or cancer inpopulations living at distances & lt; 500 meters from base stations. None of thestudies reported exposure above accepted international guidelines, suggestingthat current guidelines may be inadequate in protecting the health of humanpopulations. We believe that comprehensive epidemiological studies of longtermmobile phone base station exposure are urgently required to more definitivelyunderstand its health impact.   Specific Health Symptoms and Cell Phone Radiation in Selbitz (Bavaria, Germany)—Evidenceof a Dose-Response Relationship In January 2009, 251 Bavarian residents were tested tobefore and after a cell tower was erected in their town. This study shows the changes that are experiencedby the citizens. This present study revealed that high RFR emitted fromeither mobile phone or base station has tangible effects on pituitary–adrenalaxis represented in the reduction of ACTH and consequently cortisol levels. Also, exposure to RFR is associated with decrease in the release of thyroidhormones. While adheringto data protection, the personal data of almost 1,000 patients were evaluatedfor this study, which was completed without any external financial support. Itis intended to continue the project in the form of a register.  The result of the study shows that the proportion of newlydeveloping cancer cases wassignificantly higher among those patients who had lived during the past tenyears at a distance of up to 400 metres from the cellular transmitter site, which has been in operation since 1993, compared to those patients livingfurther away, and that the patients fell ill on average 8 years earlier.  In the years 1999-2004, ie after five years’ operation ofthe transmitting installation, the relative risk of getting cancer had trebledfor the residents of the area in the proximity of the installation compared tothe inhabitants of Naila outside the area. Guest guest
I have Internet Explorer 9 on my computer. I use a program called email stripper to clean the articles, and then I copy the cleaned article onto an email --- sometimes I copy the article to a Word document first and then copy the article to the email. I have no idea where this stuff about Microsoft explorer 4 comes from. In any case I posted this to 6 different groups and it got that stuff on it in 2 groups only. Part of how an email comes out is due to how the group is set up...........I am surprised that you don't realize that.
