Guest guest
Tommy, A while back I asked CMT doctor Greg at WSU about the use of Botox in persons with CMT. He explained that Botox will cause paralysis and why give CMT persons more grief? I hope you will make sure to check this out fully and ask other CMT doctor/experts. I took Valium in the 1970's and quickly was addicted until my cold turkey withdrawal in 1979. Since I had my back problems, during that time, my good doctor gave me Robaxin (generic Methocarabamol). It is a skeletal muscle relaxant, and worked very well; I only needed it for a short time and during that time did not become addicted. You might want to ask your doctor about this. ~ Gretchen
