Guest guest Posted June 10, 2005 Report Share Posted June 10, 2005 I take quinine for cramps. My doctor said there's nowhere near enough in the bottle of tonic water. I also learned thirty years ago while coaching swimming that magnesium is very effective for cramps. In tablets with calcium and vitamin D it is also extremly effective for menstrual cramps.
