The Mother Nature provided us natural foods to combat stress, and let us

discuss some of the foods for stress management in the words of Dr.

Deanne Panday, who explained in detail the foods to be taken or the

foods to be avoided for the management of stress and to get relaxation

from stress. He explained that foods play a major role with regard to

stress, that may increase or decrease as per the foods you have chosen

He further explained that some foods naturally enhance the stress levels

and manage stress in order to provide relaxation from stress. Foods that

actually manage or reduce stress are, green leafy vegetables, apricot,

spinach, which replenishes the body due to the presence of natural

antioxidants and minerals like magnesium that provides relief from

stress, as it relaxes muscles and provide relief from head ache.

Let us discuss some of the other certain foods that manage stress

naturally are; dark green leafy vegetables like broccoli, okra, and nuts

such as pistachios, almonds, which reduces LDL cholesterol levels and

reduces hypertension due to the presence of Vitamin E and Vitamin B

complex constituents. Fruits belong to citrus family such as amla,

lemon, oranges which controls blood pressure and lowers hypertension,

due to the presence of good source of Vitamin C. Sweet potatoes provide

increase energy levels during stress and provide relief from fatigue

when added to diet.
