,

Sorry, I just now saw your post about your wound. By all means, care

for it totally. Have you got some Betadine to wash it with? (will leave

a stain, but it is good stuff) If not, try using Hydrogen Peroxide to

wash it, with some 100% cotton. I am suggesting these 2 because they

don't sting!

Then, have you got some Neosporin to put on it? (It prevents infection) Or

better yet, get some Neosporin with Pain Relief, even better stuff. Cover it

with either gauze and tape or a bandaid. Check it 3

times a day.

You might also consider soaking your foot 2X a day in warm, soapy water, too.

Throw a few extra bandaids and Neosporin in your purse, so at work, if you need

to, you can redress the wound.

Definitely keep an eye on it. If redness develops (more than usual) or

you get more pain in your foot in the area of the wound or in another area, call

your doctor, let her see it, or go immediately to an ER. Sometimes antibiotics

are needed if an infection gets going, but right now, just take care of it and

wait.
