Hello all- my wife and I will be leaving this evening for our Alaska

trip. We will be staying at a hotel near the airport tonight, because

our flight leaves at 6:30 AM.

I want to say thank you to the many of you who have provided

information and encouragement as we have planned our trip. My scooter,

I now know, will be a Godsend on this trip. Talk to you all again in

about two weeks.

P.S. Another reason we are staying at this particular hotel, is this

is one of two hotels near the airport that offer " Park and Fly. " For

the cost of one night's stay, we can leave our van in the hotel's

parking lot for free for 14 nights. Additional nights are $4.00 per

night. Participating hotels offer differing lengths of stay and costs

for additional nights. Park and Fly has it's own website. The hotel

says they will " find a way " to get us AND the scooter to the airport.

They offer free, 24-hour shuttle service.
