Suran yam or otherwise called as Elephant yam and it is one of the

popular vegetable and it is being used in many of the delicious Indian

cuisines, recipes and dishes. Elephant yam is originated from Southeast

Asia and it is grown and found all over the world including Malaysia,

namely zinc, copper, selenium, phosphorous, potassium, and magnesium,

fiber, it lowers cholesterol and helps to lose weight. It prevents

clotting of blood due to the presence of anticoagulant properties. It is
