I also have CMT 1B. I was diagnosed two years ago at 49, through EMGs and NCVs

and the DNA test. I work full time (librarian) and have symptoms that mainly

cause pain and some clumsiness and loss of strength but am able to do aerobics

and walking, etc., etc. I have the hammertoes, the high arches and the loss of

muscle in my feet and hands. I am interested to find out the difference in

symptoms of people with 1B vs. the other types.
