This is absolutely spot on as per big pharma, miss-information, fraudulent reporting of supposed evidence of that interventions utility (can you say Celebrex) material risks of medical procedures, informed consent and contemporary bioethics. I just sent this article Chuck and colleagues to a doctoral student who interviewed me and many other DCs locally as per our “attitudes” toward vaccinations and “why” we held these views. As chiropractic physicians and natural healers we soundly believe that it is simply not ethical for government bureaucrats to void a perfectly healthy individual’s civil right to reject a medical procedure which carries within it the possible risk of injury no matter how remote.” When I finished my rather passionate dissertation she just looked at me like a “deer in headlights” finally saying well that’s a view I’ve not heard prior or something like that….geez!
