Scoliosis 14yo F

Dear Doctors, I am looking for your assistance with a 14-year-old patient who has a 50-degree lumbar and 49-degree thoracic curvature. The patient has been provided a Spinecor soft brace; however, the patient felt gastrointestinal distress with use. Obviously this is reducing applying the appliance significantly. I have contacted Spinecor manufacturers and have sent them photographs of the patient with the brace on as per their request; however, they have not offered any advice or recommendations as for the fitting of their product, but simply recommended the patient seek a Spinecor practitioner. The closest Spinecor practitioner is four hours away, and is the same individual that fit the patient initially. The parents seem less than enthused about traveling that distance and do not carry full confidence with the practitioner. I am looking to those with greater experience in the treatment of scoliosis for more favorable alternatives for a soft scoliosis brace or counsel on the appropriate use of the Spinecor brace.
