Updates to Your JMPT Subscription in 2012 Beginning this month, General and Governors Advisory Cabinet (GAC) members who receive the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics (JMPT) as a benefit of their ACA membership will have 24-hour access to the journal via the ACA's website. Those who wish to continue a print subscription to JMPT may do so by subscribing at the highly discounted rate of $45 (that's 70% off the regular price). ACA's decision to provide the online subscription for members mirrors trends in journal publishing, where more and more scientific journals are publishing in searchable, environmentally friendly electronic formats. Online subscriptions offer easy, around-the-clock access to current as well as archived issues. Simply log in to JMPT through the ACA website and read the current issue or scan past issues for areas of interest to your practice and patients. JMPT is the most respected and widely read chiropractic science journal in the world, and it is the only chiropractic journal indexed in Medline. JMPT provides the latest research and evidence in chiropractic and features high-quality, peer-reviewed journal articles and practical information for clinical settings. The journal is owned and produced by National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Ill., and is published nine times per year by Elsevier, one of the world's leading publishers of science and health information. " ACA is delighted to continue to offer General and GAC members access to JMPT, which is a tremendously valuable tool for all DCs interested in evidence-based practice and in improving the care of their patients, " said ACA President Overland, DC. " By continuing to offer JMPT as a membership benefit to our members, we are also supporting the advancement of chiropractic research. ACA is proud to align itself with JMPT for this purpose. " Q & A: Easy Access to Your JMPT Subscription in 2012 Q: How do I access my online subscription?
