My Introduction

Greetings One and All-

My name is Dave, aka crescentdave and I've joined this group in order to learn

some more about this disorder I have and to become more proactive in my personal

care. I was provisionally diagnosed through nerve conduction velocity tests

some 6 years ago. At that point in time I had trouble wearing ANY shoes and had

limited foot range of movement.

After a full course in Structural Integration, I really regained some mobility

and movement. Lately though, I'm seeing significant encroachment in terms of

numbness, some loss of motor movement and strength and the appearance of

symptoms in my hands/wrists. Walking begins to pose some difficulties as does

my work.

At 50, given all that's going on, I figure the smartest thing in the world is to

begin talking with folks who obviously know more than I do and can share through

their own experience.

So thanks for giving me an opportunity to introduce myself and I look forward to

being part of this group.
