Hello, I have a patient who is interested in the duodenal switch, but is not able to swallow pills and her surgeon would not like her to take the gummy vitamins. Can anyone recommend a liquid multivitamin that meets the recommended criteria for post-bariatric patients?Thank you, Rebekah , RD, CES

I believe there is a liquid vitamin by Twinlabs that is more geared towards bariatric patients. I would recommend Bariatric advantage. That is what I recommend to my clients who have Bariatric surgery. When we have a patient who has had surgery, changed to another chewable brand from a retail store we can tell the difference in their labs. They usually become deficient in something, either B12, iron, D and/or folate. And who knows what I happening with their bones?
