Anyone interested in Toe-Offs, usually, the orthotics companies know about them.

I love mine. It's light weight, easy on and off, and it's not hot against my

skin in summer.

TO ALL I HAVE NO FINANCIAL INTEREST IN " TOE OFF " but after my last

post I call Bill Carlton at utsouth west, my orthosis in Dallas and

got my brand of AFO -and i think you are right and great

investment- I have Toe Off's. I am 46 yrs old and after 7weeks my

life has changed for the better with my new best friends my toe off

afo's. The web site is incrediable and even mentioned reshearch

that the afo's help fix many of the functional problems I am

experiencing. I have some very strong opinions regarding the gross

under use of AFO's like toe off!!! I am going to put up links on a

separate post!!! We cmt'ers are grossly uninformed! The exception

to my broad statement is you Gretchen- you are a God send Angle and

I thank you!

Not to put a damper on things -- I'm very happy for the people who have been

helped by Toe-Offs -- but I got them about 4 years ago and they didn't help me

at all. No support at all for me. My balance is pretty bad and I have dropfoot.

Of course, they did help with the dropfoot, but I didn't feel secure wearing

them. I had to go back to regular AFOs.

I wish someone could perfect the Helios and make them affordable for everyone. I

had gotten the ones by - Neisen and was very disappointed after they

broke multiple times. I know Mitch makes them, but I just can't afford to go out

there and buy them again.
