Regarding prescription-strength probiotics

Has anyone heard of a prescription-strength probiotic called VSL#3? I have a

post-op GBP pt who recently started taking it. I know nothing about it except

that it implies it's for relief of IBS, Colitis (the pt has neither). Do anyone

know if this is safe to use?
