Guest guest
Thanks, Gretchen. I have already learned a lot from reading the postings here. Now that I have a doctor who is the first one to ask me specific questions about my childhood (where I earned the nickname " Butterfingers " because I could not catch a ball)and my current symptoms, I have some reason to hope that I can get to the bottom of what is causing my symptoms. I was not surprised that the results of the genetic test came back negative. The doctor had warned me that it was unlikely that I had the type of CMT that was covered by that test. In the meantime, I can get by with being very careful when I walk and when I am holding anything that is valuable and breakable. I will be searching back through older postings to see if others in the group have experiences similar to mine. It is great to have as a resource. Guest guest
Donna, Thank you for the welcome. And you know exactly how I feel. I seem to fall asleep in weird places to try to just get a little rest in. Bobbie
