Guest guest
Greetings Fred: I go to one of the two Kaisers in the San Valley...the one in Woodland Hills. When you have a chronic condition that is difficult to diagnose, the specialists at Kaiser can be a problem. Even though Kaiser recognizes " fibromyalgia " as a condition and has a 6 part workshop for it, some of the specialists can become quite dismissive of you once they see a condition like that in your chart. So for me, the most important thing has been to find a primary care physician who takes it seriously and I have a great one at the Woodland Hills facility. And I've learned not to be shy about choosing between specialists and switching from one (like my first Neurologist) who are dismissive of me.
