Guest guest
I am in search of a gummy bariatric vitamin or something that has 2/3 of the recommended vitamins/minerals for bariatric patients. Please send me an email if you know of one. Thanks, Abby Abby Herrick, RD, LD, cPT Program Dietitian and Wellness Coordinator abby.herrick@... Guest guest
When I have looked at any Gummy type vitamins my patients have brought in, I have found they remove some of the B vitamins (thiamin, folic acid), and several minerals totally. Since they have none of these things, we would not consider them appropriate for our bariatric patients. Don't know if anyone else has seen something different? Guest guest
I have yet to find one that is complete. I was even at Trader Joes last night and decided to take a look at their gummies, but they do not have 2/3 or 23 of the 26 recommended vitamins/minerals either. If anyone knows of one that can be conveniently bought at a local store, would you mind sharing.
