I am fairly new to the bariatric world and was wondering if any one has a list of " slider " foods they would be willing to share with me. This is what I was provding to patients- pretzels, crackers (saltines, graham, Ritz, and many others.) crammed cracker snacks like as Ritz Bits, popcorn, cheese snacks (Cheetos) or cheese crackers, tortilla chips with salsa, potato chips, sugar-totally free cookies, cakes, and candy. I am curious what all you as dietitians can and do bill for and what setting that is, Private practice, hospital, clinical, doctor office, etc. I am trying to get approved to go to a training at the end of the month and our CFO would like to know benefits for the hospital as in, what can we bill for if you get certified in Weight management. I need this information as soon as possible so that I can get approved and get started on my pretest and such for the training.
