LSG procedure

I work in a facility that has mainly been doing gastric sleeves and we are

having a lot of issues with patients gaining weight back 3-4 months out.

Typically we seen a large amount of weight loss initially and then either weight

gain or maintenance once the get around 3/4 months. Has anyone else experienced

this and if so what interventions have you used to improve your success?

One thing that I have found with our Sleeve patients is that a lot of them have it in their mind that they can still eat whatever they want after the Sleeve

surgery, and the fact is, they typically can. I try to reiterate with all patients having Sleeve that this procedure is good and bad because you can eat whatever you want and try to remind them the importance of making the lifestyle change and healthy choices

for long term, not just while they lose the weight.
