Guest guest Posted July 3, 2012 Report Share Posted July 3, 2012 Hi all! Has anyone ever had a patient s/p lap band with unrelenting left shoulder pain? I have a patient who is 1 month post op and she has been complaining of severe left shoulder pain which is worse when sitting. It is not always right after eating also. She has an APS band and we have advised her to consume no more than 2 oz portions at a time. We feel she is likely overstuffing her pouch but she swears she is not having more than the 2 oz portions. We have done every test possible on her and everything comes back fine. She is contacting our office almost daily. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this with a patient.
