Meet and Greet at ASMBS

Does anyone know if there is a scheduled DPG get together at ASMBS?

I would like to propose one if there is nothing formally organized. I am willing

to coordinate and will be

there Mon through Thursday with the most available time probably Mon night and

all day Tues. We can do something very simple like rendevous in the hotel lobby,

see how the turnout

is and go from there (dinner, cocktails, go outdoors or stay put.)

I would love to share notes and hear others' viewpoints on a few protocols we

have here at UWMC and (I will bring) and clinical challenges we encounter. I

will have our vitamin

mineral protocol, lab surveillance protocol, thiamine repletion draft for the ED

and micronutrient dosing guidelines draft. I would also love to compare notes on

diagnosing

micronutrient deficiencies using the help of a systematic nutrition focused

physical exam.

You can email me directly and I will put together a list of interested folks so

we can communicate among ourselves. Feel free to make suggestions, especially if

something worked
