Guest guest
Hello group. My name is -age 54. I am not CMT officially, but I am most interested in this forum since I have many of the symptoms. I do suffer from Scoliosis which was diagnosed at age 13. I have seen at least three Neurologist in my life...but had no indication of loss of sensation. Recently a cousin informed me more about their family line--All CMT affected. Supposedly CMT was inherited from my Great Grandmother b. 1865. Little was known of her other than she must have had a short leg (Scoliosis?), and possibly foot issues (Hammer toes?). This is probably an unrelated issue, but since many of you are searching for the common clue of inheritance, I can ad that Great Grandmothers line all suffered-died from TB. She was not affected. One of the most irritating issues I have is that every 10 steps or so I go right instead of straight. I could start out on the left side of the street and by the end of the block, be on the right! I also am doing a stub toe(drop foot) about every 30 steps or so. This last started about age 50. L
