Genetic testing cost/children's surgery

Hello,

I have a few querries..

1. What is the cost of genetic testing for CMT1A? Are there

independent tests for each variant of CMT? Or is it one test for all

variants. I believe there are different kinds of genetic testing.

2. Can someone tell me more about the corrective surgery for foot

drop? Is it advisable to get it done earlier in life (say when the kid

is 2 year old) or should it be done later?
