Guest guest
They only got her curve down to 30o. Dr. Khoury said she has a very stiff curve. I have been beside myself since noon - When h's mom called to tell me Baby A has a strong heartbeat and so does Baby B - I don't even want to see her for fear of what I may do! No way h is going to get the care and attention she needs when mom is single on welfare w/ three kids - especially 2 babies. Not much more I can say - all I can do is cry! Noelle (12-2-01)Ian (8-15-04) h's first cast Hello Group, All Done. It is hard to see h not be able to bend over & pick things up etc - she just whimpers and it is so sad! I know she will figure it all out soon enough. I could tell h's mom was irritated as I kept talking about all the wonderful babies and people I have met through this group and I actually had something to talk about with the nurses etc. Joy - I am not pursuing custody as mom is back in the picture and professes she will do what it takes to take care of her children (since there is another one on the way) It will not be me who takes her children away from her if she does not do right by them - it will be Children Services. For h's sake I hope she gets it together and OCY offered parenting classes etc. This experience with h's illness is either going to make her or break her and if I see she is not doing right by h I will step in again and have the authorities so far up her rear - end! I hope we don't have any diaper nightmares as there are three of us who take care of h - we'll see. Thanks for all the tips & h New Messenger with Voice. Guest guest
Glad all is well and over with. I'm sure she'll adjust in no time, even mine w/one leg casted learned to pick things up by kneeling on her casted leg and reaching down. Good luck w/adjustment & such.. take care! -Joy > > Hello Group, > > All Done. It is hard to see h not be able to bend over & pick things up etc - she just whimpers and it is so sad! Guest guest
What did her curve start at? Sorry it is only down to 30, but every bit of improvement counts!
