Guest guest
Gretchen, I have a question, this is my second time enduring a fracture of the 5th metatarsal on my right foot. The 1st time was Sept 03 then again Dec 04. This time it is taking a very long time to heal, I have started using a bone stimulator machine at night. My question is can heat help this bone heal? It was warmer the first time and the bone healed in 8 weeks. I suffer as many do from cold feet and hands, at my last EMG they warmed my feet with a blow dryer. I was told my feet need to be warm to get a correct reading. Could this possibly help the bone as well? I have stared to use Cosy Soles before treating my foot with the stimulator. Any information would be appreciated. I'm willing to try anything now. Thanks ann
