I felt so bad.....everyone was sitting there....I just have use of my fingers, not my thumb...it is just there and does nothing!! Guest guest Posted February 22, 2007 Report Share Posted February 22, 2007 Geri I was so sad to hear that those women were so ignorant towards you - as if life isn't difficult enough as it is sometimes. The only way to deal with it (in my book) is to take the high ground which is: you know you have a problem and you're dealing with it the best way you can and noone can expect more than that. You have lots of other things going for you and you're a great person. No one's perfect but at least you have good reason - whats their excuse??? I used to get really upset by people's thoughtless or hurtful remarks and still do come to that when people stare or try and condescend soI tell myself this ......and regularly (hey, I had a family who tried to give me good self esteem!)
