(Note to all: this is the most current reference to neuropathy and

neuropathic pain there is; and this was only experimental and conducted

on rats, not humans; this was also conducted in Croatia, and refers to

A peripheral application of botulinum toxin type A (7 U/kg) has

significantly reduced thermal and mechanical hypersensitivity in rats

with the partial sciatic nerve transection as a classical model of

surgical neuropathy.
