Guest guest
Good morning, I have just added Olivias post VEPTR-hybrid x-rays to the photo page. Before the halo and VEPTR-hybrid, she was 108 degrees....After, approx. 50. She is doing okay.....She is still complaining of left under-arm pain, so her Neurontin dose will be increased today. Gosh, I hope it helps. She was too uncomfortable to go to school yesterday. HRH Where should I go to get cast removed We would like to remove Ian's cast here before going up to Erie (that way we don't have to rush at the crack of dawn to get up there on time). What type of place would be willing to do this for us? Do I call our previous ortho (shudder) or a hospital???? Noelle (12-2-01)Ian (8-15-04) Messenger with Voice. Guest guest
Hello , I see you said Olivia is on Neurontin - that stuff is wicked - I have had chronic ear pain for over 4 yrs and at one point I was on 2700 mg of that junk. There is another medicine that is relatively new for neuropathy pain - it is called gabatril and I take it at night 20 mg - I'm not sure if would work for a child but if you ever become unsatisfied w/ the neurontin than maybe you could look into it. Just a thought. Sounds like your little angel has made awesome progress - so glad to hear it and thanks for bringing us all together.heather hyatt <heather@...> wrote: Good morning, I have just added Olivias post VEPTR-hybrid x-rays to the photo page. Guest guest
Wow, her spine looks great. Her body looks so straight! Definitely more liveable and functional. I'm so glad the surg. was a success. So what happens from now on? Does she have future surgeries as she grows? I just think those x-rays look great!Congrats. and Coleheather hyatt <heather@...> wrote: Good morning, I have just added Olivias post VEPTR-hybrid x-rays to the photo page. Guest guest
, Her films look wonderful. How much of a visual change have you noticed? That's a bummer that she is still in pain under her arm. I am wondering if it was/is due to the device pressing on something or they just did a lot of manipulation that is causing her the pain. Give her a gentle hug from me and . She is a trooper!heather hyatt <heather@...> wrote: Good morning, I have just added Olivias post VEPTR-hybrid x-rays to the photo page. Guest guest
The films look great ! I hope the pain under her arm goes away soon, but I think it is fantastic that she is down to 50. What a huge improvement!!
