Texas Nerve and Paralysis Institute Moves to Larger Space in Texas

Medical Center Area to Accommodate Increasing Number of Patients,

Expanded Staff and Team of Nerve Specialists

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 19, 2005--Texas Nerve and Paralysis

Institute has moved to a larger space in the Texas Medical Center

area, announced Dr. Rahul K. Nath, director and founder of the

Institute. The new location, at 2201 W. Holcombe, Suite 225, in

Houston, Texas, was needed to accommodate the increasing number of

patients, a staff of 15, and a growing team of nerve and paralysis

specialists.

Dr. Nath is a reconstructive microsurgeon specializing in the

treatment of brachial plexus injuries, winging scapula injuries,

prostate nerve injuries, foot drop, facial paralysis, and nerve

tumors.

Dr. Nath also announced that Dr. Rajeev Kumar will be joining the

specialized diagnostic and treatment team at Texas Nerve and

Paralysis. " Dr. Kumar is eminently qualified, " said Dr. Nath, " and is

ready to provide the most advanced diagnostic and treatment

techniques for all neurological disorders but specifically in the

area of nerve and paralysis. " Dr. Kumar received his training in

neurology at Mayo Clinic and spent two fellowship years in movement

disorder at the University of Toronto. Dr. Kumar's expertise in

neurology includes: EMG (electromyography), a specific test for

looking at nerves and muscles; and in movement disorders, such as

Parkinson's disease, dystonia, and Huntington's disease. " Dr. Kumar

has over seven years experience providing very specialized care,

including surgical brain stimulator implantation for Parkinson's

disease and other movement disorders, " said Dr. Nath. " Dr. Kumar is

also an examiner of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology,
