Guest guest
Can you cut the shirt w/o it unraveling (sp?)? We have a lot of urine stain in ours, despite washing it about every day. He's starting to get irritated as well. P.S. I'm so UPSET, long story, but we were scheduled to have Evan's cast cut off tomorrow AM and travel to Erie to have it re-applied Tues AM. No one called me to re-schedule it, but found out from Joy(through an email) that the table is "broken" and I spoke with the nurses in Erie and Jane is supposed to call me in the AM. I'm getting so worried about Evan's cast being TOO tight and so is his ped. I hope they get it fixed soon so these kiddo's can get in!! Thanks. and Evanheather hyatt <heather@...> wrote: Re: can I do this? Hi- I haven't tried, but have wondered if you could do that. I'm afraid to try it. I wondered if something in the cast might irritate their skin w/o the shirt on??I just handwash the bottom portion of it the best I can. It seems like it would work, but I haven’t tried it yet. I thought that I’d get some opinions first. Thanks ( & Alison) New Messenger with Voice. Call regular phones from your PC and save big. Guest guest
, I'm going to try to cut the stained part out and tape the surrounding to the cast so that it stays without unraveling. I can get my finger up underneath the bottom of the cast, so I think I should be good to go. That's too bad about the table, I'd definitely take the cast off if it's too tight. They told us if you can't fit a finger underneath the cast, then it's definitely too tight. I'd use this rule. I'm sure they're going to fix it as fast as possible, I'd ask Jane for options to get in as fast as possible. Take care, Jerry and Marissa Re: can I do this? Guest guest
Thanks Jerry, I emailed Dr. and he said to wait and see before we cut it off, to see when they can work Evan in. It scares me to leave it on, and it scares me to cut it off and maybe loose correction until we can be fit back in!!! Good luck with the shirt! I'll try the same thing prob. tonight!
