Guest guest
Hi Mike, Funny, that's strange you mention the hair loss. This is , and I always thought it was a plus, being a woman, not having to shave her legs very often. I rarely have hair on my legs and noticed not having to shave under my arms that often anymore. HMMM!! Even when someone mentioned about being double jointed. That applies to me also. I guess alot that has to do with nerve endings. I'm learning something new everyday. Thanks,
Guest guest
Hi Mike, As we know, everyone has diferent symptoms and it is hard sometimes. I wonder if you did go to see a doctor, about your hair problems? I am just wonder if this could be some kind of hormone imbalance? Are you doing any exercises now? I believe it could help you too..your circulation could improve a lot! Feel free to email me anytime Mike! Stay happy! Joana
Guest guest
Hi, just wanted to say I am a victim of this hair loss thing also. Never connected it with CMT - actually didn't know I had CMT when I first started to loose the hair - first on legs, then underarms and latest my hair is thinning on top of head. I turned gray very early - had gray hair streak at 20 and it went from there. By 50 I was grey and now almost white- and thin. Also - do mind cold in wintertime - especially in right foot (left cold too but not nearly as bad) - right foot turns almost blue up to mid calf so have to be extra careful keeping it warm. Fingers get cold when outside - wear mittens to keep warm. Loss of feeling in lots of spots all over body, not just feet. But, with all this, I am so thankful that I have minimum pain. Guess we are all different. June in PA

Guest guest
I have more grey hair than anyone in my family had at this age. there is no longer underarm hair and the hair on my legs is falling out fast. I have a nearly bald spot on the front top of my head, it is so thin I get sunburned if I don't wear a hat to cover it. now if the hair on my chin would fall out and stay out I would be happy. Guest guest
Joana, Like everyone says " everyone's symtoms are different " my feet never get cold or hot, I can't tell if I have socks on or not. I sometimes get in the shower with my socks on and last winter I went to my neighbors barefooted and it was below freezing. My hands started dying about 10 years after my feet. Now when the cold gets to where I can feel it my fingers are nearly frozen and for about an hour the pain is killer. I lost the hair on my legs years ago, about a year ago I was shaving and happen to look at my underarms, shock I have no hair under my arms. Now most of my chest hair is gone. I have a full head of hair and no loss elsewere and no gray at 52. Anybody heard of this before? Mike
