NatraBath does help with clumping in bath salt blends, but that is not the primary function. The specific use for NatraBath is to absorb oils--essential oils, fragrance oils, carrier oils. It can be used as part of a bath salt blend or as a blooming bath powder by itself. It is water soluble and disperses the oils beautifully in the bath and also provides a soft feel to the water. Here are a couple of formulas: <A HREF= " http://www.theherbarie.com/herbarie-formulary.html#BloomingBathBalm " >http:\ //www.theherbarie.com/herbarie-formulary.html#BloomingBathBalm</A> I sell alot of the NatraBath and enjoy using it myself. It makes a wonderfully relaxing bath after a long day!
