Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Today was strength - I decided to do a combo of workouts - i went with Crunch's Fat Burning Ab Attack and give it two thumbs up! I'm not really sure how much fat burning you'll get out of this workout - it isn't really aerobic - but it does contain a nice medley of both standing and lying ab work. Definately good for a change of pace on ab work and if you are like me and hate boring old crunches. yes, there were some regular crunches in the workout but it was interspersed with standing ab work (kind of kickboxing and dance inspired) and planks. The workout is well chaptered so you can easily do just segment or two - or just the standing or just the lying ab work. It was about 30 minutes long. Instructor was good and the setting was typical Crunch, large, varied class. After that I did TJ's Lower Body Jam, it is so funny how I'm enjoying these TJ toning workouts now when I was so lukewarm about them when they first came out. I definately liked this one today. It uses light weights and a circular band (a regular band tied in a knot - I use the circular band that came with the Tamilee Webb defy gravity workouts as I hate messing with the knots on bands..>) I think I would like to try it with ankle weights instead of the band at some point....Overall a good one, though. I would have liked to add on some upper body, but my DD was up by then - so I'll try to add some on tomorrow or Sunday. Tomorrow is cardio - not sure if I'll do a TJ kickboxing workout (Cardio Party # 3) or a Tae Bo or Janis saffel - or maybe I'll do step or hi/lo for a change of pace from all the kickboxing. Hope everyone has a great day - I need to get in gear to get DD to gym on time...we're both very slow in the morning -- it always amazes me that I can wake up so early yet still not be ready to go anywhere until 9 or 10! Take care! Donna __________________________________________________
