Guest guest Posted November 2, 2006 Report Share Posted November 2, 2006 > Here are some beginner weight workouts that I've tried. > ~Minna Lessig One Minute Workout > ~Kathy 's Lift Weights to Lose Weights 1 & 2 (just use light > weights) > ~10 Minute Solutions Target Toning these are all good suggestions !! also, cathe friedrich does have a beginner workout... basic step/body fusion dvd which also has 20 minute strength training segments for upper and lower body, plus an ab segment. cathe uses 3 pound dumbells, which seems funny for her, but great for beginners. she also uses a resistance tube and a stability ball. good dvd if you want to do some step aerobics, toning and also be able to move up to intermediate level in step aerobics with 'body fusion'. also kathy smith's 'secrets of a great body'... which is now on dvd, although it is under a different name. if interested, please holler and we will get you the proper name of the dvd. also 'extreme makeover' with robert reames, who is kind of serious, but the dvd will provide you with a program for each day of the week. also, look into tamilee webb's 'i want that body'. another one is '15 minute workouts for dummies' with gay gasper (please ignore the 'for dummies' in the title! ) and take a look at 'prevention:personal trainer' dvd with chris freytag. :*carolyn.
