Guest guest
Steph Dr U suspects might have something going on urinary wise!! Judging by all the peeing etc she does, I'd say this was a fiar assessment! We are about to satrt pH testing her urine when my sticks arrive next week. If the pH is increased this could suggest that ammonia is being produced (should be about pH 6.8 normally). Amy Yasko has done some work on this which is pretty heavy you can look at it on www.holistichealth.com. She has suggested that some ASD kids may have certain gene deletions which affect/cause this ammonia production in urine. We are hoping to test for this soon, but its pricey, the test details are on www.testing4health.com. Theres loads of info and its not the easiest of reads but I'm trying hard to figure it out because for us it sounds plausible.
