Guest guest
Hi Zoe I whizz up some chopped/juiced onion, allowed herbs and a little bit of avocado and 3 eggs. (can add other veggies like peppers etc )Cut up slices of cooked dry cooked bacon (or whatever bacon you are allowed and put in pastry case. Then pour your egg mixture over bacon and pop it in the oven. Not sure about temp and time but I think mine does at 180 for roughly 20-30 mins. Guest guest
This recipe works well. You can add about any combo veggies that your child tolerates. If you have a darling like we do who used to pick out any identifiable veggie to go in a discard pile on her plate, it helps to saute and blend evrything you want to disguise before you add it to the egg. I still gag at the sight of turnips but she'll eat about anything in this recipe. Hog Wild is a US product sooo. Saute: ½ med. Onion 2 cloves garlic 1 cup zucchini Mix: ½ cup coconut milk ¼ cup water 4 eggs 3oz. cooked Hog Wild Sausage[opt] Or 3 slices cooked bacon crumbled[opt] Pour: Egg mixture into glass bread pan Gently stir in sautéed veggies Bake: 50 min. @ 325 or until done Can be cut and frozen for later use Can add sautéed peas, cauliflower, or turnips etc. in place of zucchini or used combined > > > > OK with gf/cf pastry recipe - its the filling I dont have a recipe > > for, cant find anything in AiA cookbook - any offers for a nice > cheese > > free egg and bacon quiche? > > > > You can tell I'm crap in the kitchen - dont even know how to make > > quiche (usually buy from Tesco)..........back to Mumschool for me > LOL > > > > Ooooh and whilst I'm on, Philip recently saw a Oliver ad on > > telly where he was making savoury pancakes, and asked if we could > make > > them...I used the AiA cookbook recipe for chapatis and filled with > > hummous and salad (balsamic vinegar on mine)...........yum scrum was > > Philip's verdict and I must say I agreed! > > > > Zoe > > >
