Mandi, try this one, is what I was told, that only the free T3 is relevant, and what the parameters are, although he thought she was six years.

Lol, mad cows here also, just not saying it, well, have heard of a few, but of course they are saying not in food supply, yea right.

But Armour is made from pig thyroid, and no mad pig. Yes, if free T3 low, need Armour. You can get it rx'd or you can get it by yourself. You would have trouble getting it rx'd if it is just a little low, within range, but not the correct ped range, which peds don't use the ped range. Our ped did admit that the ref range was wrong, when we showed it to him.

No ped wants to touch low thyroid issues with a ten foot pole, they refer to ped ents. and they do nothing or worse, give synthetic T4 only meds. In our case the free T4 was nearly perfect, so there was a conversion problem getting to T3 from T4, which the Armour corrected.

Weird thing is no symptoms save for dry skin and we all have that in the winter, she is tall and has tons of hair and was never constipated. But the first time I took her temperature in the middle of the day it was 96.8, brrrr. Now with the Armour temps are 98.2-98.8, much more normal.

Get the free T3 done and get back to me if it is low.

Wow, same as in Canada, starting to notice that the countries that have a more liberal political and moral bent, are more conservative medically speaking.

I know there was one doctor in the UK who prescribed Armour and he was barred from practising as a result..
